the global death toll from COVID-19 increased by 4,193 to 40,598 in the past 24 hours as of 10:00 CET on Wednesday, according to the daily situation report released by the World Health Organization(WHO)
The report showed a total of 823,626 confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported as of Wednesday, an increase of 72,736 infections compared to previous day.




Doctors, nurses and other health care workers across US are frustrated that they have to care for sick people without proper equipment. Some have held demonstrations; others are buying their own supplies.
A home nurse who is part of the Oregon Nurses Association said she’s terrified she’s spreading coronavirus from one place to the next as she visits her elderly patients in the assisted living facilities without a mask, glover or other protective equipment.
For most people , the new coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough, that clear up in two weeks.
Currently PPE(Personal Protective Equipment) manufacturers cross the world are pushing their best to help meet the growing demand for protective gear.
